DESCRIPTION:Hand Quilting adds a certain extra pizazz to your quilts and is a skill very easy to learn. \nIn this class\,  you will learn all about what threads and needles to use\, how to begin and end your stitches\, and lots of tips and tricks along the way. \nWe will be using a simple quilt sandwich of plain fabrics and batting.  However\, if you have some orphan blocks at home\, please do bring them along to work on. \nSuitable for beginners\, adventurous beginner to advanced sewists. \nWhat you will learn: \n\nBasic hand quilting principles\nHow to start and finish ends of the quilting\nWhat thread to use\nTechniques for tension\, how to use the needle and what stitches are best.\n\nWhat is included: \n\nA full kit including needle\, thread\, fabrics – You are welcome to bring along a small quilt or a Patchwork block\nA take home reference sheet\nExceptional tuition with 5 others in the class\nCopious cups of tea and coffee\n\nWhat you need to bring \n\nYour glasses\, if you need them\nYou are welcome to bring fabric of your own if you would like to use up your stash\nYour lunch – Microwave and Fridge available.\n\nDates available: \nSunday 14 September 10am – 3pm
