The quilt can be constructed by hand or machine\, or mix the two for a portable project. You will learn so much in this one day workshop: value and colour theory\, how to use acrylic templates to mark and cut fabric\, piecing accurate y-seams\, needle turn applique and machine pieced curves.

Classes are guided by the needs of the students and loosely structured to cover block and layout design\, different methods of construction including machine and hand piecing options\, applique techniques and English paper piecing. With 2001 block options ranging from the idiosyncratic to the traditional there are enough blocks for a lifetime of quilts! \n  \n
