DESCRIPTION:English Paper Piecing (EPP) Workshop \nJoin Lorena for two days of playful precision in Dungog! \nOn Friday (Day 1 Introduction) we’ll dive into the art of fussy cutting – discovering repeating motifs in fabric and unlocking the hidden magic of the humble hexagon using mirrors and other tricks of the trade. \nSaturday (Day 2 Advanced) opens up a world of possibilities with a variety of EPP patterns to explore:\n▪️ Honeycomb Studs – elongated hexagons that shine in a cushion project or grow into a quilt top\, perfect for using up scraps.\n▪️ Stars – diamonds that tessellate into stunning starry designs\, from a set of drink coasters to something much bigger.\n▪️ Mini Opals – learn curved English Paper Piecing techniques while creating a striking\, gem-like block. \nThe Day 1 workshop fee includes a basic kit to get you started. For Day 2\, additional patterns and templates will be available to purchase on the day to suit your preferences (kits $8-$30 each) which can be purchased directly from Lorena. \nMorning and afternoon tea are provided. Please advise of any dietary concerns! \nWhat to bring: \nYour enthusiasm for learning a new craft! All materials will be provided. \n\nLocation: 211 Dowling Street\, Dungog NSW\nParking: Dowling St or nearby side streets
