Fifi’s Fabricology :: Opal Essence

Play with colour and value as you make your own version of Lorena’s Opal Essence quilt. This pattern takes the traditional Tumbling Block design and adds a twist with fun, gentle curves. The quilt can be constructed by hand or machine, or mix the two for a portable project. You will learn so much in this one day workshop: value and colour theory, how to use acrylic templates to mark and cut fabric, piecing accurate y-seams, needle turn applique and machine pieced curves.
